By highlighting Iran’s past ambitions to construct a nuclear device. Mr Netanyahu unintentionally demonstrated – as several architects of the 2015 deal have commented – the need for the JCPOA, which made it impossible for Iran to build a nuclear weapon.

…Though the disclosure was made in order to justify President Donald Trump torpedoing the Iran nuclear deal on 12 May, Mr Netanyahu was unable to find any evidence that Iran has breached the agreement signed in 2015.
The vast cache of files presented by Mr Trump are largely historical and relate to the period before 2003. Mr Netanyahu’s purpose was to pillory Iran for lying about a nuclear weapons programme 15 years ago and before.
The White House has had some difficulty in adjusting its rhetoric to the historical nature of the disclosures, saying at first that they were proof that “Iran has a robust, clandestine nuclear weapons program”, but later changing “has” to “had”… Read the rest of this entry »

So was Netanyahu an apartheid leader when congress invited him over to dis’ our President? No one is free of their wrath, even Christians. See this from the LATimes of all places.

The time has come to call the duck a duck. It’s time to agree with a long list of Israeli political leaders, academics and public figures on both the political left and right, including three former prime ministers, a winner of the Israel prize, two former heads of the Israeli internal security service Shin Bet, and one of the country’s principal newspapers, all of whom have warned that the Jewish state is becoming, or already is, an apartheid state. The only President our bought and paid for congress respects, Netanyahu.

President Donald Trump’s new Iran policy clearly represents a dangerous rejection of diplomacy in favor of confrontation. But it’s more than that: It’s a major shift toward a much closer alignment of U.S. policy with that of the Israeli government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Read the rest of this entry »

Just how afraid of Israel is Washington?
http://original.antiwar.com/smith-grant/2017/05/05/letter-from-a-mlaga-city-jail/
The following letter (original PDF) was obtained on May 4, 2017 by IRmep via the Freedom of Information Act (release letter PDF) from a classified FBI and Department of Homeland Security dossier. The letter was presumably sourced from an INTERPOL intercept.
It is an appeal for assistance written by convicted felon Richard Kelly Smyth to movie producer and self-confessed Israeli spy Arnon Milchan. Smyth had fled the United States in 1985 after being arrested and charged with smuggling. The letter (and other dossier documents) add details to the 2014 report published at Antiwar.com suggesting Smyth and Arnon Milchan along with Benjamin Netanyahu were knowing participants in the well-documented conspiracy to illegally smuggle krytrons, which can be used as triggers for nuclear weapons, to the Israeli Ministry of Defense via front companies. The letter also confirms Benjamin Netanyahu, the current Prime Minister of Israel, worked as Arnon Milchan’s employee at Heli Trading, the Israeli node of the smuggling network.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu successfully lobbied Secretary of State John Kerry to grant in 2016 a 10-year resident visa for Arnon Milchan to remain in the United States. The US Department of State currently refuses to release information about their secret negotiations or the State Department’s awareness of Milchan’s espionage activities on behalf of Israel before it granted the visa. – Grant F. Smith, IRmep Directo
The Israelis obviously needed the trigger material to go along with the uranium they stole from NUMEC in Pennsylvania. Read the rest of this entry »

According to Haaretz Netanyahu’s greatest fear about Iran is that they will comply with all the nuclear development requirements agreed upon at Lusanne. See here.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at a recent meeting of the security cabinet that if a comprehensive nuclear agreement between Iran and the six world powers is indeed signed by the June 30 deadline, the greatest concern is that Tehran will fully implement it without violations, two senior Israeli officials said.
One official said: “Netanyahu said at the meeting that it would be impossible to catch the Iranians cheating simply because they will not break the agreement.”
Netanyahu and Israel’s ambassador to Washington, Ron Dermer, want to see changes inserted in the bill that will make it more binding, and even turn it into one that prevents an agreement with Tehran rather than delaying it.
At home Bibi’s story is exactly opposite of what he and his puppets in Washington tell us. The mossad and US national intelligence estimates agree that Iran gave up on nuclear weaponry a decade or more ago. See here. Read the rest of this entry »

Ruth Marcus of the Washington Post suggests we should release Jonathan Pollard, the Israeli spy.
See here.
Her arguments leave something to be desired.
Marcus says we release/trade spies all the time. She says Pollard is due for parole review in 2015 and if justice has been served then he should be released, all extraneous issues aside. Maybe so, I will leave that to the conscience of government lawyers.
Marcus’ arguments go downhill from there.
He spied for an ally, not an enemy. Read the rest of this entry »

The cancerous lump that is Congress gave away its power to declare war 60 years ago. It was given to President Truman. Now they are taking that the power away from the President and handing it to another country.
S 1881 The “Iran Nuclear Weapon Free Act of 2013” says in part:
If Israel is “compelled to take military action in legitimate self-defense against Iran’s nuclear weapons program,” the United States “should stand with Israel and provide … diplomatic, military and economic support to the Government of Israel in the defense of its territory, people and existence.”
Israel and (Saudi Arabia) would like nothing more than for the US to go to war for them in Iran. This law will make it happen. Benjamin Netanyahu can start a war with Iran and the US will be legally bound finish it. Read the rest of this entry »

The House has passed H.R. 4133, an AIPAC designed, Israel firster dream bill. Ron Paul and John Dingell are the only reps that voted no in a limited debate, quick vote session. There must be enough Muslims in Michigan to negate AIPAC. Hmm… they are not so bad after all! The bill, in a nutshell, obligates US to keeping the Israel defenses up to date, supplying a $1Billion missile defense system and has language that supports Israel’s membership in NATO. We are of course obligated to defend fellow NATO members in time of (Iranian) war. A major reason for the bill no doubt. Defend Israel by ourselves because the US essentially is NATO. The other members ran out of ammo playing in the Libyan sandbox. We are to veto any resolutions, presumably the UN variety, critical of Israel. The validity of the criticism is apparently irrelevant. Demand your Senators to kill this. Mine won’t. Casey and Toomey are empire builders and not unfamiliar with the taste of Israeli boot leather. The House once again kneels before President Netanyahu. No doubt the other 101 lackeys in Washington will also. See Philip Giraldi here.
Be seeing you
