Moderna and the COVID vaccine: what kind of lunacy? « Jon Rappoport’s Blog

“It’s completely correct to say that NIAID will reap a profit on the Moderna/NIAID vaccine. There are 6 NIAID scientists who work for Dr. Fauci, each of whom would get $150,000/year indefinitely as their reward. So that’s $900,000 to his subordinates every year in perpetuity.” Mary Holland, General Counsel, Children’s Health Defense

Would you buy a used car from the company called Moderna?

The US government has shelled out $500 million to this Massachusetts-based biotech firm for a COVID vaccine.

Based on what?

Forbes, May 8: “It’s a big bet for the ten-year-old company, which currently has 24 products in its pipeline—but nothing yet on the market. The biotech sports a huge market cap of $17.5 billion, but it posted a net loss of $514 million on revenues of just $60 million last year. And most of that incoming cash came from government grants and research collaborations with big pharmaceutical companies.”

Moderna has never put a single product into the marketplace.

Last year, it lost $514 million.

It took in $60 million.

But it’s somehow worth billions.

The COVID vaccine it’s working on utilizes brand new RNA technology.

No RNA drug or vaccine product has ever been certified for public use.

Other companies have tried and failed, mainly because safety was a serious problem.

Moderna is partnering with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), the federal agency headed up by Tony Fauci.

How many red flags do you need?

What’s going on?

ONE: Fauci, Gates, and others are itching to get an RNA product approved for public use. In the area of vaccines, the manufacturing process is far quicker and easier than the traditional approach. Thus, they can flood the world with all sorts of new vaccines at the drop of a hat. That’s what they want: a massively vaccinated planet under the gun.

TWO: If Fauci can ram through his partner Moderna’s vaccine, get it approved and released, his heroic status among the dumbed-down public would skyrocket even higher. He could write his own ticket. Head of the giant National Institutes of Health. Director General of the World Health Organization.

THREE: Does Fauci stand to gain a personal fortune from his connection with Moderna, if the COVID RNA vaccine is approved? I don’t know, but of course, a quiet back-door $$$ deal involving Fauci would be a simple proposition.

As easy as billionaire Bill Gates’ Howdy Doody smile.

If Fauci weren’t 80 years old, he’d be an ideal running mate for Joe Biden. And if wobbly Joe won, and didn’t last out his term, Fauci would become the president of the United States. After all, he’s been serving as the interim president for months, dictating lockdown policy and the massive destruction of the economy.

Maybe Tony could tease out a few hundred million more for Moderna, so they could whip up a super-special anti-aging cream for him. Rub on, wait five minutes, and you look thirty. Voila.

It’s time for a medical doctor to win the presidency. It’s a natural. Testing for everyone, wall-to-wall contact tracing, social credit score, mandatory vaccination, immunity certificates, cancellation of the Constitution, laws against freedom, destruction of human life as we know it, daily bullshit medical updates from the Oval Office…

“…Today, the president took out his prescription pad and wrote his latest orders to the nation: ‘If after receiving your RNA Cybervaxx shot, you fall down in the street foaming at the mouth, be aware that you’re experiencing an adverse event. It’s called an auto-immune response. Basically, your body is attacking itself. Hopefully, you’re carrying your cell phone with you. Step one—remove your mask to avoid drowning in your own fluids. Step two—try to bring your tremors and flopping motions under control. Step three—take out your cell and press 9^83*2A-7bX6. This code is case sensitive. Step four—shelter in place, help is on the way. In some areas, especially large cities, there will be delays, owing to technical system overload. Roaming mobs of liberals are rioting. They expected a smooth miracle with Cybervaxx. But rollouts of new technology always involve problems and adjustments. This is how science works. And now a word from the Secretary of the Treasury on the new currency. Bill, take it away’…”

Fauci’s Song and Dance – American Thinker

Posted by M. C. on May 15, 2020

To Dr. Fauci the U.S. is one big clinical trial and we are lab rats in his experiment. As America dies from bureaucratic asphyxiation, it’s time we got a second opinion

We are trapped in this suicidal national lockdown because Fauci relied on and believed a report from the same doofus who in 2005 predicted that as many as 200 million people would die from the bird flu and in 2009 that British deaths from the swine flu would number 500,000 annually. Deaths numbered 500.

https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2020/05/faucis_song_and_dance.html

Daniel John Sobieski

Dr. Anthony Fauci has never been muzzled by President Trump, as the lamestream media often charged, but maybe he should have been and should be still. Before his tour de farce before the Senate Health Committee, the shy, modest, and unassuming Dr. Fauci emailed a New York Times reporter with a preview of his testimony,  an apocalypse now prediction if we don’t hang on to and follow his sage and expert advice:

Dr. Anthony Fauci emailed New York Times reporter Sheryl Gay Stolberg Monday night with a preview of his message for a Senate hearing on Tuesday in which he warns of “needless suffering and death” if the country opens “prematurely” from the COVID-19 Chinese coronavirus lockdowns…

Stolberg posted Fauci’s message to Twitter:

“The major message that I wish to convey to the Senate HLP committee tomorrow is the danger of trying to open the country prematurely. If we skip over the checkpoints in the guidelines to: ‘Open America Again,’ then we risk the danger of multiple outbreaks throughout the country. This will not only result in needless suffering and death, but would actually set us back on our quest to return to normal.”

Or we could just sit here and wait for a vaccine that may or may not come and may or may not work while our economy atrophies and people turn to drugs, alcohol, child abuse, domestic violence and even suicide as their nest eggs dreams, livelihoods evaporates. Many would argue, and I count myself among them, that Fauci’s consistently wrong advice using consistently wrong computer models has led to needless suffering and death.

Tucker Carlson on his Fox News show recently asked Dr. Marty Makary, professor of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. what he thought of Fauci’s performance thus far and his assessment was not good:

He’s a good laboratory virologist. But you know, in terms of preparing this country, he missed it…

For two months from January 15th when we had our first case confirmed walking around in the United States on U.S. oil until March 15th, with the country latching on to every word he says, he never once prepared this country with anything beyond simple hygiene and basic virology lessons.

He went on the media every day, on every show. Never once did we hear, let’s get ready with more PPE. Let’s build up our stockpiles. Let’s stop nonessential travel. Let’s get more swabs. Let’s build up capacity with reagents and testing.

So, that was a big miss, and I don’t know whether or not to blame him because we all make mistakes, or the entire country putting their faith and stock in one doctor.

Ouch.  His pronouncements have been dangerously and consistently inaccurate, as when he asserted that the coronavirus was nothing to worry about and we should just get on with our lives. As The Hill reported on January 26::

Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), said Sunday the American public shouldn’t worry about the coronavirus outbreak in China.

“It’s a very, very low risk to the United States,” Fauci said during an interview with radio show host John Catsimatidis.

“But it’s something that we as public health officials need to take very seriously… It isn’t something the American public needs to worry about or be frightened about.”

Or how about his sage advice on masks and the now-you-need-them now-you-don’t flip-flop on CBS’ “60 Minutes” on March 8:

When it comes to preventing coronavirus, public health officials have been clear: Healthy people do not need to wear a face mask to protect themselves from COVID-19.

“There’s no reason to be walking around with a mask,” infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci told 60 Minutes.

While masks may block some droplets, Fauci said, they do not provide the level of protection people think they do. Wearing a mask may also have unintended consequences: People who wear masks tend to touch their face more often to adjust them, which can spread germs from their hands.

Coronavirus was nothing to worry about. There was no need to wear face masks. Fauci has been the Pied Piper of economic and medical misinformation. After he changed his mind and decided that we needed to shut down the world’s greatest and booming economy, he did so on the basis of bogus models.

First Fauci and Birx used the discredited Ferguson model to persuade Trump to lock down the economy. A New York Times reporter wrote on how apocalyptic nonsense from researcher Neil Ferguson and the Imperial College was used to dupe the White House Coronavirus Task Force and influence President Trump to accept Fauci’s draconian lockdown:

Sweeping new federal recommendations announced on Monday for Americans to sharply limit their activities appeared to draw on a dire scientific report warning that, without action by the government and individuals to slow the spread of coronavirus and suppress new cases, 2.2 million people in the United States could die.

To curb the epidemic, there would need to be drastic restrictions on work, school and social gatherings for periods of time until a vaccine was available, which could take 18 months, according to the report, compiled by British researchers…

…Asked at a news conference with President Trump about what had led to the change in thinking by a White House task force, Dr. Deborah Birx, one of the task force leaders, said new information had come from a model developed in Britain.

We are trapped in this suicidal national lockdown because Fauci relied on and believed a report from the same doofus who in 2005 predicted that as many as 200 million people would die from the bird flu and in 2009 that British deaths from the swine flu would number 500,000 annually. Deaths numbered 500.

Even Fauci must have realized the absurdities of such numbers, for he soon turned to another model from the University of Washington. But that model’s projections on cases and deaths changed enormously and frequently as new data came in, making accurate projections unreliable. Even Fauci noted:

“As we’re getting more data and seeing the positive of effect of mitigation, those numbers are going to be downgraded, as you’ve said,” Dr. Fauci said on Fox News. “I don’t know exactly what the numbers are going to be, but right now it looks like it’s going to be less than the original projection.”

In an article in the Washington Post quoting Dr. Fauci on computer models, he said

…there are too many variables at play in the pandemic to make the models reliable: “I’ve looked at all the models. I’ve spent a lot of time on the models. They don’t tell you anything. You can’t really rely upon models.”

Who elected Dr. Fauci President? Fauci keeps moving the goalposts. First COVID was not a threat. Then it was. We didn’t need masks. Then we did. This is Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown.  Now he tells us we have to wait for a vaccine for his permission to educate our children, worship our God, or visit our doctor?

Home of the brave and land of the free? Thanks to Fauci, we empty our jails so we have room for nail and hair salon owners wanting to feed their children. Fauci warns of needless suffering and death from a premature reopening of the economy he shut down. We are already miserable and dying.

We are dying from conditions not being treated because the hospitals and doctors are limited to so-called essential treatments and services. We are dying from suicide and depression and hopelessness in an atrophied economy. We are dying from vanished nest eggs, retirement plans, and dreams. We are dying from jobs that will never come back and businesses that will never reopen

We are dying in an economy whose upward curve your advice has flattened. You have destroyed the American dream almost singlehandedly and done what no foreign adversary ever could — brought America to its knees.

Kentucky GOP Sen. Rand Paul rightly took Dr. Fauci apart for his apocalyptic Senate testimony:

“If we keep kids out of school for another year, what’s going to happen is the poor and underprivileged kids who don’t have a parent that’s able to teach them at home are not going to learn for a full year,” Paul said.

Paul rebuked Fauci, saying: “I don’t think you’re the end-all. I don’t think you’re the one person who gets to make a decision. We can listen to your advice, but there are people on the other side saying there’s not going to be a surge and that we can safely open the economy.”

I don’t think he’s the end-all either. To Dr. Fauci the U.S. is one big clinical trial and we are lab rats in his experiment. As America dies from bureaucratic asphyxiation, it’s time we got a second opinion

All Businesses Matter – LewRockwell

Posted by M. C. on April 28, 2020

That is, once it is accepted that the government can decide which businesses are essential, then no reasonable or logical argument can be made against the government deciding

  • which medical procedures are essential
  • which sporting events are essential
  • which recreational activities are essential
  • which foods are essential
  • which television programs are essential
  • which vitamins are essential  A
  • which medicines are essential…

And of course, when the government deems something to be essential, it also means that it intends to suppress what it deems to not be essential.

By

“Governments have no right or authority to tell us what business or other activity is ‘essential.’ Only in totalitarian states does the government claim this authority.” ~ Ron Paul

Just as all lives matter, so all businesses matter.

Most Americans have been confined to their homes for the past month except when they need to get something from an “essential” business. And who in their omniscience has decided which businesses are essential? Why, the government, of course.

And what businesses does the government consider to be essential? Well, it depends on the state. But this doesn’t exonerate the federal government in the least. It is the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the federal National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) that is responsible for inciting the coronavirus insanity. And it is the federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) of the Department of Homeland Security that last month issued its “Guidance on the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce: Ensuring Community and National Resilience In COVID-19 Response” that many states are following.

In my state of Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis, a Republican, issued an executive order (20-51) on March 1 “directing the Florida Department of Health to issue a Public Health Emergency” because of COVID-19 and then issued another executive order (20-52) On March 9 “declaring a state of emergency for the entire state of Florida as a result of COVID-19.” On March 17, DeSantis issued an executive order (20-68) restricting the operation of bars and restaurants and practically closing the beaches. On March 20, DeSantis issued an executive order (20-71) shutting down bars, restaurants, and gyms. Also on March 20, DeSantis issued an executive order (20-72) banning all “medically unnecessary, non-urgent or non-emergency procedure or surgery” and directing all dentists to cease performing “elective services.” On March 27, DeSantis issued an executive order (20-83) urging the elderly and those with serious underlying medical conditions to stay at home. Included also was “a public health advisory against all social or recreational gatherings of 10 or more people.” Also on March 27, DeSantis issued an executive order (20-87) suspending all “vacation rental operations.” On March DeSantis issued an executive order (20-89) restricting in four Florida counties “public access to business and facilities deemed non-essential.”

Finally, on April 1, DeSantis issued an executive order (20-91) directing “all persons in Florida” to “limit their movements and personal interactions outside of their home to only those necessary to obtain or provide essential services or conduct essential activities.” “Essential services” means and encompasses “the list detailed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in its Guidance on the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce” and “those businesses and activities designed by Executive Order 20-89 and its attachment.” “Essential activities” include “attending religious services conducted in churches, synagogues and houses of worship” and “participating in recreational activities (consistent with social  distancing guidelines) such as walking, biking, hiking, fishing, hunting, running, or swimming.”

These executive orders are nothing but creeping fascism. Their destruction of civil liberties has resulted the insanity of churches closing when they don’t have to, “unessential” bookstores closing while “essential” liquor stores remain open, and outdoor seating areas at convenience stores wrapped in plastic.

Things are just as insane in other states. In Idaho, a woman was threatened with jail time for holding a “nonessential” yard sale. In Tennessee, churches are closed but abortion clinics are open. In all states (except Massachusetts) where recreational marijuana is legal, marijuana merchants have been deemed “essential.”

In a market economy, every business is essential because every type of industry relies on, stimulates, and necessitates the other industries. And of course, every business is essential to the owner of the business, the family of the owner, the employees who work at the business, and the customers who patronize the business.

Once it is accepted that the government can decide which businesses are essential, then no reasonable or logical argument can be made against the government deciding which products and services offered by businesses are essential.

That is, once it is accepted that the government can decide which businesses are essential, then no reasonable or logical argument can be made against the government deciding

  • which medical procedures are essential
  • which sporting events are essential
  • which recreational activities are essential
  • which foods are essential
  • which television programs are essential
  • which vitamins are essential  A
  • which medicines are essential
  • which clothing is essential
  • which car repairs are essential
  • which amusements are essential
  • which religious activities are essential
  • which movies are essential
  • which books are essential

And of course, when the government deems something to be essential, it also means that it intends to suppress what it deems to not be essential.

Governors and mayors forcing businesses to close—with the prompting and full support of the federal government—is a big leap toward a totalitarian police state. And there is a reason I did not say “a first step.” The United States has been heading this way for years, as John Whitehead has so chronicled in detail. The coronavirus insanity may just be the final straw.

Just as all lives matter, so all businesses matter.

Cuomo: Need ‘Hard Look’ at Experts, Organizations, and ‘International Watchdogs’ on Coronavirus

Posted by M. C. on April 24, 2020

Even commies can find the acorn once in a while.

CDC, NIH, NIAID, WHO, NSA, CIA, FIB, Fauci all missed it.

How can they all miss it when it has been known since H1N1 or before than Wuhan was a coronavirus cesspool.

The US even funded the Wuhan research lab.

How could everyone miss this? How indeed…

https://www.breitbart.com/clips/2020/04/23/cuomo-need-hard-look-at-experts-organizations-and-international-watchdogs-on-coronavirus/

by Ian Hanchett

During a town hall on CNN on Thursday, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) stated that there has to be a “hard look” at “the experts, the organizations, the international watchdogs” who should have been watching for the coronavirus outbreak “because obviously, we missed it.” Cuomo also stated that banning travel from China was sensible, but came after it was too late.

Cuomo said, “Well, look, global pandemic, the words had been used for many years, doctor, but we’ve never actually lived through it. So, I don’t think that this country was ready for it. I don’t even think our experts were ready for it. You know, in retrospect, it seems so simple, right? China has a virus last November, last December. The virus can get on a plane, can go to Europe, can come to New York, can be anywhere in 24 hours. What made anyone think it was going to stay in China last November and last December? And then, we’re taking actions in March. What happened to January and February? You know, when you look back at it, it seems to be so plain and so obvious. The president has talked — spoken about the World Health Organization and what they should have done, but I think we have to take a hard look. Where were the experts, the organizations, the international watchdogs who should be watching for something like this? Because obviously, we missed it. March — we’re taking actions in March. I have the first case in March, but the data is now saying it may have been here in January. It may have been here in February.”

He added, “Well, in retrospect, close the door on China, yeah that makes sense. But it had already left China.”

Fife Is In Charge

Posted by M. C. on April 13, 2020

It has become apparent recently that the Wuhan district in China has been a known viral hotspot, particularly for mutant coronavirus, since H1N1 more than ten years ago. The Daily Mail tells us that the US has spent $137 million on Wuhan research labs. Yet the CDC, NIH, Fauci’s NIAID and the WHO were caught totally unprepared. The US has a dozen or more spy agencies including the CIA, DHS, DIA and FIB. They were so busy spying on US citizens that they completely missed a deadly epidemic sweeping China until it was so bad the Chinese had to ‘fess up.
What are we paying these people for?

Oh wait!

It’s Trump’s fault!

EconomicPolicyJournal.com: Heroic Lawmakers Step Up: Fauci is Doing More Harm Than Good

Posted by M. C. on April 12, 2020

It has become clear that Wuhan has been of concern to those that study infectious for 10+ years. It is an epicenter of new disease creation. Particularly those that make the animal-human jump. Bill-mandatory vaccine, yet another reason to track you-Gates has certainly picked up on that.

What has the CDC, WHO, NIH and Fauci’s NIAID done in those 10+ years to mitigate these concerns? NOTHING.

A complete government agency disaster.

Now that there is a world wide disaster, the Fauci fear machine is in top gear. But don’t worry, the government is coming to your rescue.

I would have more faith in a Bevos, Dyson or Musk. They know how to get the challenging stuff done.

https://www.economicpolicyjournal.com/2020/04/heroic-lawmakers-step-up-fauci-is-doing.html

Antony Fauci

Republican Reps. Andy Biggs (Ariz.) and Ken Buck (Colo.) criticized Anthony Fauci, Trump’s top COVID-19 adviser, for the impact his recommendations have had on the country, claiming that the stay-at-home policies informed by his recommendations have forced businesses, workers and corporations into economic turmoil.

“For Fauci, is it merely a societal or economic inconvenience that about 17 million workers are unemployed because of the government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic, with many more to come in the weeks and months ahead? The economic calamity lies largely with the origination of policies resulting from Fauci’s recommendations,” the lawmakers wrote in an op-ed in the Washington Examiner published Saturday.

Here are key snippets:

Fauci has admitted that the models he relies on are unreliable. The models, and their panic-inducing projections, have seemingly been revised down every couple of days. Fauci insists this because of his policy prescriptions, but time and data from the United States and other nations will reveal whether that is true.

We have heard Fauci say the economic cost and societal impacts of his policies were not considered when he devised his epidemic response plan. But the question is whether the medicine he prescribed will prove to be more harmful than the disease in the long term.

Many businesses have been shuttered forever. It will be almost impossible for countless other small businesses to reopen once the government gives the all-clear for the economy to restart.

It is tragic that thousands of people in the country have died or may yet succumb to the novel coronavirus, COVID-19. But we also must remember that millions of people have had their lives and livelihoods permanently altered because of the government response to this virus. While our government may make promises and help make things better once the hysteria subsides, there is nothing our leaders will be able to do to make everything completely right again.

Fauci and his team insisted that the best-case outcome for the virus was between 100,000 to 200,000 fatalities stemming from the coronavirus. But that was before the number was revised down to 75,000. And, that was before it was revised down again to 60,000. Surely, more revisions are to come.

Case fatality rates include all deaths of anyone with COVID-19, or the symptoms of the virus. These are classified as a virus-caused death regardless of other health issues that might have contributed to the death. This method of counting is promulgated by Fauci’s associate Deborah Birx. It almost sounds as if she is trying to boost the fatality rate.

Birx also recently indicated that we should not open up the country yet because there might be a second time around for the virus. Has she considered the economic destruction she is content with wreaking on the nation? One wonders if she has thought about the emotional toll — the suicides, the increase in domestic and child abuse, drug and alcohol dependence, and a host of additional societal pathologies. Has she considered the loss of life-savings, businesses, and capital?

This is awesome stuff, we need more government officials to step up and attempt to reverse the panic-induced totalitarianism.

History will show that Biggs and Buck were the first to step up.
