Obama and Vietnam-What Says Friendship Better Than Arms Sales?

Posted by M. C. on May 24, 2016

The Vietnamese arms sales embargo was just a US and US puppet thing.  Others, notably Russia, could sell all the market could stand.  We can’t have that can we?

This new friend will have to pay the price in being in the front lines against China.  How effective they will be against a fellow communist entity, only time will tell.  The Vietnamese aren’t stupid. It seems to me they could easily play this to theirs and China’s advantage.

Joining NATO, receiving foreign aid or being a friend to the US is not all rainbows and unicorns.  There are usually mandatory arms purchase requirements, accepting a US military presence, allowing CIA stations and directives on making the correct noises in the press and UN.

This deal is not made out of kindness of the heart.

Be seeing you

Is World War III Only A Few Days Away?

Posted by M. C. on February 29, 2016

There are 350,000 troops gathered in Saudi Arabia for ‘war games’.  There are 18,000 Turkish troops gathered in Turkey.  Both near the Syrian border.

Saudi Arabia says they intend to invade Syria.  Ash Carter is non-committal about about whether the US will send US soldiers to their death for Saudi Arabia (and Israel).

Russia says they would consider tactical nukes in Turkey.  What about SA?

Joachim Hagopianin in the linked article suggests there may be a US master plan. Read the rest of this entry »

I Am From the Government and I Am Here to Start World War III

Posted by M. C. on February 1, 2015

We all know what happens when the US decides to “help” a country. Death and destruction on a massive scale is usually the result. When the US deems “help” is necessary that generally means there is a communist threat or the subject government doesn’t obey the pentagon’s directives.

“Help” often involves regime change. That is just what the neocon warparty wants in Russia.

US “advisers” will soon be landing on Russia’s border in Ukraine. Read the rest of this entry »

The Coincidence Of Russia’s Rise And Oil’s Fall

Posted by M. C. on December 16, 2014

The price of oil has been dropping for quite a while. Why no clamor from OPEC to reduce production? Because the US told them to keep quiet. It likely did not take much coaxing.

Saudi Arabia has two problems. US energy independence and Russian oil and gas production. Three problems if you count the cost of training and equipping Sunni terrorists. Training terrorists, even slobbering zealots, isn’t cheap these days. Read the rest of this entry »

This Election is Bad News, Once McCain is in Charge Deadlock Will Look Good

Posted by M. C. on November 12, 2014

Drone attacks and interfering in ever more numerous Middle East countries has caused terrorist ranks to sky-rocket. A Russian vassal state’s government is overthrown by the US and replaced by Nazi’s. Now Russia is said to be planning air patrols of the Caribbean.

China is antagonized by increased US troop presence in Australia, now it has stepped up aircraft carrier building, is developing their own stealth aircraft and is hacking away at our cyber security.

All this under a Nobel peace prize-winning president’s guiding hand. Read the rest of this entry »

Russia and A US Foreign Policy Reality Check-Reagan is Spinning

Posted by M. C. on November 9, 2014

When the USSR collapsed the East and West were in a quandary on what to do about the eastern block countries. Read about it here.

Gorbachev could have used his forces to head west and take over. But he didn’t want to, packed up and headed home . This decision was made in part due to an agreement with Reagan and Bush I.

Russia would exit eastern Europe and the Baltic countries if NATO (i.e. the US) agreed not to expand NATO closer to Russia. Read the rest of this entry »
