Trump vs. the FBI: Who are the good guys? | The Daily Bell

Posted by M. C. on March 3, 2019

All we can do is separate ourselves to the best of our abilities from far off bureaucrats and politicians

https://www.thedailybell.com/all-articles/news-analysis/trump-vs-the-fbi-who-are-the-good-guys/

By Joe Jarvis

The bad guys wear black hats.

We’re programmed to see things in black or white, right or wrong, good or evil. From what we are shown in movies and books from an early age, there is a protagonist and an antagonist.

Clever writers make it a little more complex, with the Boo Radleys and Snapes who are thought to be villains but turn out to be heroes. But generally, the characters fit largely into extremes: good guys or bad guys with little overlap: Harry Potter versus Voldemort.

But it’s those characters on the edge who people can’t get enough of. Like Walter White, the cancer patient who starts producing meth to leave some money behind for his family in the TV show Breaking Bad.

And that’s probably because its an often unspoken truth that life is mostly gray, and not so black and white.

But the binary two choice meme has a function. It makes things a hell of a lot easier. And it prevents us from being crippled by indecision and inaction.

Of course, this is also easily exploited by bad guys… Read the rest of this entry »

Mueller Report: Secrecy Shouldn’t be an Option – Antiwar.com Original

Posted by M. C. on February 25, 2019

https://original.antiwar.com/thomas-knapp/2019/02/24/mueller-report-secrecy-shouldnt-be-an-option/

As February draws to an end, rumors abound that we’re about to see Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report on alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. Or at least that someone – namely, newly confirmed US Attorney General William Barr – is about to see that report. The rest of us, maybe not so much.

“I don’t know at the end of the day what will be releasable,” Barr told the US Senate during his January confirmation hearing. “I am going to make as much information available as I can consistent with the rules and regulations.”

That’s not good enough.

Robert Mueller has spent nearly two years and more than $25 million supposedly getting to the bottom of the “Russian meddling” claims – claims that have, both before and throughout his tenure, roiled the news cycle and called the integrity of American elections into question.

Mueller may answer to Barr, but both he and Barr claim to work for the public. And that money didn’t come out of Mueller’s pockets or Barr’s. It came out of your pocket and was supposedly spent on your behalf.

That report is, by any reasonable standard, your property. Read the rest of this entry »

The FBI Came Close to Staging a Coup

Posted by M. C. on February 20, 2019

McCabe’s almost offhanded comments on “60 Minutes,” that the FBI actively considered deposing a sitting president should be cause for alarm.  Set partisan politics aside for a moment.  We’re talking about deposing a sitting president.

https://consortiumnews.com/2019/02/16/the-fbi-came-close-to-staging-a-coup/

By John Kiriakou

Former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, in an explosive interview with CBS’s “60 Minutes,” said that in early 2017,  in the aftermath of President Donald Trump’s firing of former FBI Director James Comey, he and other FBI officials discussed the possibility of recruiting a cabinet secretary to help push the president out of office by using the Constitution’s 25thAmendment

McCabe further contended that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein offered to wear a wire when he was around Trump in order to gather evidence against him.  (Rosenstein denies the allegation.)  McCabe said that Justice Department officials believed at the

time that Trump may have obstructed justice by firing Comey, and they worried that Trump was somehow under the influence of the Russian government.  In the end, nothing came of the plan. Regardless of one’s feelings toward President Trump and his

policies, what McCabe is describing is nothing less than a coup attempt. It’s something that happens in weak or nascent democracies, following interference by the CIA perhaps.  It should never happen here. Read the rest of this entry »

“grievous offense against the Constitution.”

This is where the FIB excels.

Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” former Harvard constitutional law professor Alan Dershowitz reacted to former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s claim there were those inside the Department of Justice contemplating invoking the 25th Amendment to remove Donald Trump from the presidency.

Dershowitz called that effort an “attempted coup d’état” and a “grievous offense against the Constitution.”…

Are the Investigations the Cover-Up?

Posted by M. C. on December 27, 2018

Mueller’s key role is to have nearly absolute control over what information is released to investigators or the public.

https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2018/12/are_the_investigations_the_coverup.html

By Bryce Buchanan

Those of us who have been paying attention know that serious crimes were committed at the highest levels of government in an attempt to exonerate Hillary Clinton and frame Donald Trump.  There was collusion between government agencies, including collusion with foreign agents, to illegally influence the 2016 Presidential election.  There is enough evidence on the table to be confident of these claims.

And those of us who care about rule of law, who want to see justice done to the criminals in this conspiracy, have been waiting for years to see that happen.  We hear that these serious matters are being investigated.  We hear that there are whistleblowers inside the government who want to come forward and expose the corruption.  We hear that there are many, many more documents which will substantiate our worst fears about one of the greatest scandals in the history of our country.

We have been assured that there are several investigations looking into the various aspect of this abuse of power.  Inspector General Michael Horowitz, prosecutor John Huber, and others are looking into the corruption.  Mueller is supposedly tasked with exposing foreign influence on the Presidential election.

But what if the ‘investigations’ are really the cover-up? Read the rest of this entry »

On the Criminal Referral of Comey, Clinton et al: Will the Constitution Hold and the Media Continue to Suppress the Story? – Consortiumnews

By Ray McGovern

Wednesday’s criminal referral by 11 House Republicans of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as well as several former and serving top FBI and Department of Justice (DOJ) officials is a giant step toward a Constitutional crisis.

Named in the referral to the DOJ for possible violations of federal law are: Clinton, former FBI Director James Comey; former Attorney General Loretta Lynch; former Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe; FBI Agent Peter Strzok; FBI Counsel Lisa Page; and those DOJ and FBI personnel “connected to” work on the “Steele Dossier,” including former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates and former Acting Deputy Attorney General Dana Boente.

With no attention from corporate media, the referral was sent to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and U.S. Attorney for the District of Utah John Huber.  Sessions appointed Huber months ago to assist DOJ Inspector General (IG) Michael Horowitz.  By most accounts, Horowitz is doing a thoroughly professional job.  As IG, however, Horowitz lacks the authority to prosecute; he needs a U.S. Attorney for that.  And this has to be disturbing to the alleged perps. FBI Head Shocked To His Core by FISA Memo – LewRockwell

Posted by M. C. on January 31, 2018

Dear FIB Director: Me Thinks Thou Protest Too Much!

https://www.lewrockwell.com/2018/01/tyler-durden/fbi-director-wray-shocked-to-his-core-by-fisa-memo/

FBI Director Christopher Wray was allegedly “shocked to his core” after viewing the four-page FISA memo Sunday night – hours before asking Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe to step down, according to journalist Sara Carter.

Hannity sat down once again with journalist Sara Carter, whose sources say McCabe may have instructed FBI agents to alter their “302” forms – the paperwork an agent files after interviewing someone: Read the rest of this entry »

Exclusive–New FBI Director ‘Soiled’ by Clinton Conflict of Interest and Should Resign, Says Bureau’s Former Assistant Director

Posted by M. C. on January 29, 2018

It is tough finding anyone honest in government let alone the FIB.

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/05/10/new-fbi-director-soiled-clinton-conflict-interest-resign-says-bureaus-former-assistant-director/

The former assistant director of the FBI tells Breitbart News that James Comey’s replacement should resign because of a conflict of interest over the Hillary Clinton emails investigation.

“He should not be the acting director of the FBI,” James Kallstrom explains to Breitbart News of Andrew McCabe. “He’s just not up for the job. He’s been soiled by this whole thing with Terry McAuliffe. He never disclosed it on the forms.” Read the rest of this entry »

Posted by M. C. on December 18, 2017

Between spying on you, spying on other countries and entrapping Muslim halfwits to make it look like they are fighting terrorism where there isn’t any-is there time left for the FIB to arrest real criminals?

Did the FBI retaliate against Michael Flynn by launching Russia probe?

Posted by M. C. on June 27, 2017

The FBI launched a criminal probe against former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn two years after the retired Army general roiled the bureau’s leadership by intervening on behalf of a decorated counterterrorism agent who accused now-Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe and other top officials of sexual discrimination, according to documents and interviews.

“Getting their man” is not number one. Their image is. Read the rest of this entry »
