Obama To Pay States For Medicare Expansion-Don’t Take the Bait

Posted by M. C. on March 10, 2013

The government gets $1T further in debt each year. Why would it offer to pay states more to add to the medicare burden? I am willing to bet it would cost many trillions of dollars to cover the baby boomer generation. I normally take anything neocon warparty spokesman Jonah Goldberg says with a handful of salt but…today he quotes the HHS info director Gary Cohen as saying a $5B Obamacare pre-existing condition bridge really costs $40B. Goldberg quotes the GAO as putting the  75 year cost of “won’t add one dime” Obamacare at $6.2T.

“Free”, “government money” comes with strings attached. That is, of course, the whole idea. Take the “free money” and do as we say or face our badge and our guns.

Obama has no intention of reducing spending and intends to increase spending as much as possible. Ultimate control over our lives is the progressives’ end game.

Dependence on government for survival and squashing of resistance, of which gun control is a part, are the tools which get this job done. Read the rest of this entry »

A Nobel Peace Prize Winner’s Version of No Child Left Behind-A Message to the Nobel Committee

Posted by M. C. on December 14, 2012

Dear Peace Prize Committee

A lot of people in the Middle East carry weapons.  It is a dangerous place.  They could be terrorists or family men trying to protect themselves from US sponsored bandits.  They are all targets.  Now we kill eight year old children collecting dung for a fire, looking for water, or just digging a hole.  Anything sort of, that might be or looks kind of like carrying a bomb makes kids fair game for remote control death.  As noted here, Obama and company have opened the aperture.  It has been open season for a while as long as you didn’t get fingered by someone with morals. Following accepted rules of war or practicing the Geneva Convention in the US military now earns a naked year in solitary.  Child murder, a war crime, has an official OK.

Where is the outcry against collateral splat the murder of children?  Nothing is heard from Congress or the kill crazy white house and Pentagon.  It is deathly quiet in Norway also.

You must be proud of your Peace Prize choice (“W” on steroids) Obama.  Who could have guessed you would surpass your Yasser Arafat moment.

Be seeing you

Crap! Obama Won, Yea! Romney Lost – Our Options Are Limited

Posted by M. C. on November 7, 2012

This begins with Jim Thompson’s editorial in the Oct 31 Erie Times. He is taking Rep Mike Kelly to task.

Kelly has done nothing to cancel Bush’s tax cuts for the wealthy, a massive redistribution of wealth to the top 10%.

Obama has stated he is in favor of wealth redistribution. The difference appears to be to whom the money gets redistributed. No mention that every analysis I have seen says the top 20% pays 80% of the tax. No mention the 53% of earners pay all the income tax. Read the rest of this entry »

Communist Party and Erie Times-News Back Corporatist Obama

Posted by M. C. on November 7, 2012

The candidate of Communist Party of the USA and the Erie Times News has won twice.   What do we have to look forward to because of their backing?   I say look out for development of these items, the Cloward-Piven strategy, more UN authority over US citizens (starting with the small arms treaty) and Agenda 21.

How many corporatist successes like Solyndra,  the plant closing (“green” government poster car) Chevy Volt and $25B worth of unsellable GM stock are in our future?

Central planning – celebrating 95 years of continuous failure and asking for more!

Good luck.  We are all going to need it.

Associated Press Says Coal Use Down-Leaves Out Part About Obama Vow

Posted by M. C. on June 17, 2012

The AP story in today’s Erie Times tells us how electric companies are changing from coal to natural gas. The obedient lamestream AP has in its usual manner left out half the story. There is the Obama vow to crush the that somehow was not mentioned.

Then there are the EPA regs that are forcing mines to shut down. And the hold(up) on issuing dig permits.

Unfortunately the natural gas alternative the administration is pushing will rely on fracking. A technology I am not sure bodes well for ground water. But no worries. The central planners know what is best, more than the energy companies, more than the marketplace and of course more than you or me.

Obama’s Surprise Visit to Afghanistan and the Secret Agreement with Karzai-An Analysis of the Analysis

Posted by M. C. on May 3, 2012

This was obviously an election year dog and pony show. No honest evaluation of the Secret Agreement is available. The administration did more jukes and jives than OJ Simpson when describing what the Secret Agreement contained. The article in the 2 May Erie Times is from the Associated Press. It is drivel, spoon fed by the administration. Let’s take it point by point.

The US commits to supporting Afghanistan’s etc, etc. This means you and I are bankrolling fiascos and lining the pockets of a world-class corrupt government. Throwing good money, ten years worth, after bad is what government does best. The US does this better this anyone. “Commitment” sounds Samaritan-like. The sheeple will buy in. Obama Silencing Pakistani Drone-Strike Lawyer

Posted by M. C. on April 10, 2012

Drones are a hot topic in the US as well as in the Middle East and Africa.  They are increasing being used, by police and whoever else can get their hands on one, to spy on the sheeple.  I notice the government is getting braver about advertising the results of foreign drone attacks.  There was a period where the victims were “leading figures”.  When the drone attack victims were being named they had a habit of showing up a few weeks later.   The question is who got dusted.  Hamid Karzai has been outspoken about the number of innocent civilians killed.  The US is no stranger to the massacre of civilians.  The American Indian, American civil war, the Philippines, Fire bombings in Germany, Japan and Vietnam, civilians and Reuters personnel in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan.  Read here to see how we treat someone who speaks for victims and dares to question the almighty.

Who is the Real Commander in Chief-William Kristol, Benjamin Netanyahu or Obama?

Posted by M. C. on April 7, 2012

I agree with Robert Cogan’s recent Erie Times letter arguing that an attack on Iran is not in our interest. I say it is hardly necessary by anyone. Another ineptly conceived and implemented war and the resulting sky rocketing oil prices won’t do us any good. One can read where the 2007 National Intelligence Estimates and the CIA say Iran stopped any nuclear weapon research 10 years ago. Read the rest of this entry »

More on the Subject of Gun Control and Liars, take President Obama and Pathological Hillary…Please

Posted by M. C. on December 27, 2011

More about Obama’s anti-gun agenda.  He is getting help from that bastion of truth Hillary Clinton.  You remember Hillary, who as first Lady told the story of allowed to land in a helicopter in a free fire zone and had to dodge bullets on her way to safety.  I hate to point out mores lies but what can you do when talking about Obama and Hillary?  It just comes naturally. Addendum to “My Scumbag Senators”: Obama Administration’s proposed veto of SB 1867 not on Constitutional grounds

Posted by M. C. on December 6, 2011

but because the current wording treats detainees (potentially you and me) as military prisoners, therefore they are accorded Geneva Convention rights and cannot be tortured.  The self-proclaimed Constitutional lawyer has no Constitutional scruples as elaborated by Paul Craig Roberts here.
