Why I Am Voting For Donald Trump And Not A Third Obama Administration

Posted by M. C. on August 15, 2016

As the USSR collapsed, part of Mikhail Gorbachev’s agreement to dissolve the Warsaw Pact hinged upon the US pledge not to enlarge NATO. Thanks to Clinton I, Bush II and Obama NATO is up to Russia’s border.

Obama’s trillion dollar nuclear upgrade plan is an in-your-Russian-face challenge. New adjustable yield nukes are being touted as a way to make nuclear first strikes acceptable. Advanced nukes, anti-missile systems in Eastern Europe and sailing warships up to Russian shores are a directive- Do what you are told or prepare to glow in the dark.

Russia and China for some strange reason resist being part of this plan. They want to be the main player in their own neighborhoods. What gall!

Wall Street Hillary is the neocons high priestess of ‘Boss of the world at any cost’ theology.

Kosovo, Libya, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan: War is the only ‘diplomatic’ tool Clinton knows. War machine money green is the only color she knows.

Fred Reed said this ‘There are three kinds of stupid-Stupid, really-really stupid and war with Russia’.

Donald Trump acknowledges Russia is an effective partner in fighting ISIS. Trump says Russia could be a friend and trading partner. Then there is ‘the thing that is not said’, Russia as an ally in counterbalancing China. Read the rest of this entry »

NATO-The Original ‘W’ Advised Against It

Posted by M. C. on August 2, 2016

George Washington may have been a poor field commander but he was a wise politician. When departing the White House he advised us to avoid entangling foreign alliances.

World war one was the result of a spider web of European alliances. So complicated no one can figure it all out.

World War two began as a result of the UK commitment to protect Poland. When Hitler invaded Poland England was honor bound to come to their aid.

The rest of that story was Churchill and Roosevelt sold out Poland to ‘Uncle Joe’ Stalin at Yalta. With friends like that… Honor was never in the bulldog’s nor FDR’s vocabulary.

Not having learned from history, we are now guaranteeing protection to NATO countries from the ogre du jour Russia and its evil leader Vlad. Read the rest of this entry »

Obama-Clinton Gun Control Hypocrisy

Posted by M. C. on June 18, 2016

Don’t you find it interesting that the CEO of the largest arms dealer in the world wants to disarm his citizenry?

The same CIA/neocon sock puppet Obama that knowing sends arms to non-existent ‘moderate’ rebels.

Not surprisingly, the bulk of those weapons have ended up in the hands of Islamist militiamen. The number of additional casualties in the war due to such arms transfers is likely hard to quantify, but with civilian massacres perpetrated by US-backed terror groups such as Ahrar al Sham, it’s not a stretch to suggest they’ve directly contributed to the bloodshed. Reports Of Republican Death Are Premature

Posted by M. C. on March 26, 2016

Many like Philip Giraldi and Pat Buchanan are predicting the death or regeneration of the Republican party/Conservative movement due to the efforts of Donald Trump. Here for example.

I don’t see it.

Trump talks about a lot of things. Immigration-building a wall. Lost jobs-bring factory work back home/punishing those who send work off-shore. Military expenditure-eliminating NATO/bring troops back from developed countries or making them pay for our presence. Iraq-a mistake. Russia-let it do some heavy lifting and work with Putin. Run this country like a business. Read the rest of this entry »

Tom Ridge Confronting Terror

Posted by M. C. on December 20, 2015

Tom Ridge 12-18-15

The attached Tom Ridge editorial appeared in the 18 Dec Erie Times News.  Tom Ridge is a neocon poster boy.  He accepted W’s offer to start the department of homeland security after 9/11.  Ridge is a local hero.  First a representative, then PA governor, had the Erie airport named after him, then made the father of DHS, now an international security consultant making a bundle from terrorism.  The editorial is worth a read to see where Ridge and my editorial response below come from.

Tom Ridge’s 18 Dec editorial on confronting terror was so divorced from reality I am forced to comment.

“(America) has led the free world by tapping into humanity’s courage and sense of duty, not hate, to overcome evil.” So many empty words in such a small space. What sense of duty led the US to tear the Middle East apart? Was it the CIA’s duty to overthrow the Iranian government in 1953 and install the brutal Shah? Was it Ambassador Alice Glaspie’s duty to give Saddam Hussein the green light to invade Kuwait so we would have an excuse to retaliate? Is it our duty to vaporize every Middle Eastern male capable of holding a gun or shovel, broom, hoe or anything that looks like a gun from a drone camera?

And no, Donald Trump is not a ‘go it alone’ guy. When Trump says he has no problem with Russia taking on ISIS fear strikes the hearts of neocons. Anyone that threatens US control and power anywhere on the planet must be put in their place.

Next come the real whoppers. Read the rest of this entry »
