A CBS news article published in 2011 entitled “Social Media Is a Tool of the CIA. Seriously” reveals the “unspoken truth” which the mainstream media including CBS have failed to address.
The CIA is “using Facebook, Twitter, Google (GOOG) and other social media to spy on people.”

When Chicago resident Carlo Licata joined Facebook in 2009, he did what the 390 million other users of the world’s largest social network had already done: He posted photos of himself and friends, tagging the images with names.

By “right wing extremist” what German authorities really mean is anyone who questions the immigration policies of the Europe, or thinks differently than the general population. Literally simply insulting someone, or talking trash can make you liable for five years in prison in Germany. According to section 130 of their criminal code (emphasis added):
(1) Whoever, in a manner that is capable of disturbing the public peace:
1. incites hatred against segments of the population or calls for violent or arbitrary measures against them; or
2. assaults the human dignity of others by insulting, maliciously maligning, or defaming segments of the population,
shall be punished with imprisonment from three months to five years.
Like one of the commenters said-what about the Stasi? The country is led by a communist youth leader.

Facebook has algorithms which put together entire files on people that can be tailored to sell to an insurance company, an employer, or perhaps even the government.
Oops, Facebook later said, it was totally just a little mistake that they supported a murderous government over activists wishing to draw attention to horrible human rights abuses.
In fact, under strict censorship laws, the government does not allow any discussion of the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre in books and blocks online searches and discussions of the brutal crackdown that killed an estimated 1,000 students protesting the ruling Communist Party’s human rights abuses.
And now, the Chinese government is preparing for the 28th anniversary of the massacre on June 4th by placing many activists under house arrest and warning others not to speak out.
Facebook seems only too happy to help them in the effort of stamping out that dark mark on China’s history. Read the rest of this entry »

The author argues that Zuckerberg is purposefully positioning himself as a key figure in the future: “He is positioning Facebook — and, considering that he commands absolute voting control of the company, he is positioning himself — as a critical enabler of the next generation of human society. A minor problem with his mission is that it drips with megalomania, albeit of a particularly sincere sort.”
Given Facebook’s recent decision to hire partisan left-leaning fact checkers such as ABC News, Snopes, Politifact, and even the George Soros-funded Correctiv to police “fake news” on their platform, many would question the type of “global superstructure” that Mark Zuckerberg wishes to architect.
Soros…his tentacles are everywhere.

Social media firms may be forced to pay for the cost of policing digital crimes and should be fined if they do not quickly censor illegal posts, under plans published by a parliamentary committee on Monday.
It is amusing that an entity the UK is demanding to eradicate terrorism/hate material from the internet is a tool of the CIA. The same CIA that funds Al Qaeda and ISIS Syrian rebels.
Facebook policing the internet is like the FBI investigating itself.
Facebook does indeed have police experience. Ridding German Facebook of anti-immigration comments for Angela Merkel.

The allegation was revealed this morning by The Australian which obtained internal documents from the social media giant which reportedly show how Facebook can exploit the moods and insecurities of teenagers using the platform for the potential benefit of advertisers.
The social media services we use can derive immense insight and personal information about us and our moods from the way we use them, and arguably none is more fastidious in that regard than Facebook which harvests immense data on its users. Read the rest of this entry »

The list seems endless. Virtually any belief opposed by the radical left is branded “hatred” and that belief spoken becomes “hate speech.” The goal is to silence the conservative world view through censorship, period. The fringe will use every means available to pressure these online giants to follow suit. Will Facebook, Google, Twitter and Microsoft comply?
If you are really concerned about censorship ( and industrial scale data mining) just bail out of FB, google, MS etc.
Find or create something better. Better yet get rid. We managed a long time without them. I believe those, particularly young people, who broadcast every detail of their lives will regret the future that is in store.
Mr. Bozell presented a caring Mark Zuckerberg. This is the same MZ that conspired with Angela Merkel to censor anti-immigrant Facebook news.
Is MZ the next George Soros?
To paraphrase a former president ‘it depends on what your definition of censorship is’.

Mark Zuckerberg was, after all, of the same faith and background, so why side with two naive WASPs who rowed brilliantly, dressed well, and stood up when ladies entered the room? Zuckerberg is now worth north of 40 billion smackers, after paying peanuts to the twins who failed to get it on paper that Facebook was their idea. So much for a gentlemen’s agreement.
