Even more concerning is that the security exercises increasing target “home grown terrorists” and “right wing extremists.”
Seems to me like left wingers are the extreme ones.
Watertown was basically shut down by martial law in order to search for the suspect. People in the town were forced from their homes at gun point, before their houses were raided and searched. How is this news? Is it another stab half baked stab at Russia?
Everybody reads other governments mail. Ask Angela Merkel.
I am guessing there is suspicious activity indicating the CIA and DHS are monitoring US officials…in addition to the rest of the citizenry.
The CIA has a big snooping operation in Frankfort or some place in Germany. This could be the US government unwittingly outing itself.

A secret list, kept by a secret group, with secret criteria, developed by grossly incompetent secret organizations (DHS, TSA, US government). One finds out they are on the list only after buying an expensive airline ticket and being refused boarding privileges or after attempting to purchase a firearm if the Progressives have their way. This is straight out of Kafka.

I see the American Medical Association (AMA) president is once again designating gun-owners as health hazards. He didn’t say that exactly but that is what the administration…AMA meant. They want to put the kibosh a law that prohibits fed funding for gun death research too. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is mentioned as a player. They don’t mince words. Guns are a disease and the Administration…CDC is the cure. The CDC is an obedient Progressive lap dog. Jeh Johnson (DHS) says gun control is now a homeland security issue. The same DHS that fights in no foreign lands but stockpiles hundreds of billions of rounds of ammunition…to use against whom?

Why US citizen travelers have had their rights trampled, genitals groped, irradiated and generally treated as like cattle?
Why the TSA has inconvenienced a lot of people but none of them terrorists?
Why the DHS and FBI have set up a bunch of half-wits patsys but saved us from little else?
Why US citizen travelers have had their rights trampled, genitals examined and irradiated and generally treated as like, well, terrorists?

Tom Ridge 12-18-15
The attached Tom Ridge editorial appeared in the 18 Dec Erie Times News. Tom Ridge is a neocon poster boy. He accepted W’s offer to start the department of homeland security after 9/11. Ridge is a local hero. First a representative, then PA governor, had the Erie airport named after him, then made the father of DHS, now an international security consultant making a bundle from terrorism. The editorial is worth a read to see where Ridge and my editorial response below come from.
Tom Ridge’s 18 Dec editorial on confronting terror was so divorced from reality I am forced to comment.
“(America) has led the free world by tapping into humanity’s courage and sense of duty, not hate, to overcome evil.” So many empty words in such a small space. What sense of duty led the US to tear the Middle East apart? Was it the CIA’s duty to overthrow the Iranian government in 1953 and install the brutal Shah? Was it Ambassador Alice Glaspie’s duty to give Saddam Hussein the green light to invade Kuwait so we would have an excuse to retaliate? Is it our duty to vaporize every Middle Eastern male capable of holding a gun or shovel, broom, hoe or anything that looks like a gun from a drone camera?
And no, Donald Trump is not a ‘go it alone’ guy. When Trump says he has no problem with Russia taking on ISIS fear strikes the hearts of neocons. Anyone that threatens US control and power anywhere on the planet must be put in their place.

The Patriot Act is up for renewal. Senate Intelligence Committee Chair Richard Burr says we must renew as we are in more danger than ever.
He is right about the danger part. All the US efforts since Desert Storm have made the Middle East go from mildly bad to incredible disaster.
The Patriot Act and its FBI, DHS, CIA, NSA enablers have been a complete failure in bringing peace. A figure I heard on the Scott Horton show (Philip Giraldi interview) was 2 million dead in the war on terror. Read the rest of this entry »

The Department of Homeland Security was created in 2003 by former PA governor “two-face” Tom Ridge.
Cost as of 2011 runs to $645B.
Presumably that includes cost overruns.
This DHS is supposed to protect us against attack in all its forms including biological. Instead Washington has concentrated its efforts on preventing exposure of failure to you and me.
Big brother can find a telephone call we made five years ago or reserve us a FEMA camp cell but can’t deal with one victim of a communicable disease. Read the rest of this entry »

Do you, like I, wonder why with all this DHS/CIA/NSA spying does ISIS pop up from nowhere? These efforts don’t seem to be diminishing the terror threat.
